Hi, I’m Charlotte!

I am committed to making the art world transparent. I am an art gallery owner, curator, and freelance art writer with a focus on artful interiors, art collecting, artist features, exhibition reviews, and making art accessible to all. My writing is featured in publications such as Cape Cod LIFE, Midtown Magazine, Cary Living, SFAQ, and Art Practical.

When not visiting art exhibitions, I am having a dance party in my kitchen with my kids, trying the latest restaurant, and working out at Barre3. You can find me in Raleigh, NC, Bald Head Island, NC, and Cape Cod, MA.

The Approach

I create an inclusive art experience that is simple and approachable. My focus is building community and connection through art advice, fine art writing, and decor inspiration.

My Story

Having art collector parents shaped Charlotte’s fascination with the collecting experience. On an art buying trip to Japan, she saw first hand how art collecting was more than buying art. Japanese art dealers cultivate a ritual around an art acquisition. The art of buying artwork is a unique life moment. In her writing, Charlotte focuses on the community around art.

Charlotte worked at an art gallery and studio for adults with developmental disabilities in San Francisco, CA. This experience sparked her desire to create an inclusive art environment. Her role was telling the stories of the artists and how art changed their lives.
